Man, I swear these things come faster and faster as the years nyoom right on by!
So! Brightest Blessings to you all for a truly wonderful 2017, but lets kick this pig, shall we?
Last Year I set some goals for myself, and I think I did pretty darn good in 2016.
Write 200,000 words between fanfics and original stuff. - GOAL!!! I managed to hit a total of 436,348 written and posted in 2016. Total posted for 2016 is 442,397.
Get on Crackalackalicious again and post no less than 24 chapters this year. - GOAL! Well, mostly. I completed the first arc ON TIME, though when everything was said and done, the fic worked better with fewer than the 24 originally planned chapters. I just shuffled scenes into different Days, and it worked, so don't worry thinking there's bits y'all are missing. I'm counting this one as a major win.
Keep on top of the monthly goals! Meaning, that To Write Folder I have and will be cranking on hard this year. - GOAL!! OMG, but... OMG!!! LOL! I was VERY GOOD about not taking on too many extra bunnehs this year. Now, some things did get bumped off the list and pushed back, but that's because I was genuinely not feeling them and honestly might not ever. I've kept the outlines for the longer fics I bumped just in case, so we'll see. Truly, this is an accomplishment for me. I've struggled against the mentality that if I make a doc or giggle over an idea and say I might write it, I feel as if I HAVE TO get it done, even if I no longer feel drawn to it. I dun gud this year! Not only that, but everything I WANTED done, got done. \o/ Fuckin' VICTORY! wooooo!!
Self-Publish original fic BY October because that’s my 40th birthday, and I REALLY want to hit this particular goal. - GOAL!!! You can Buy The eBook HERE, or if you want a full color print copy, you can Buy The Print on Demand Book HERE!! The print copy is a stupid price, but they charge up the wazoo for full color printing. I'm not making any extra profit there over what I make on the e-copies.
Work more on the fics for print stuff and maybe even have that ready to offer for preorders by the end of 2016. - This got changed up. I found a better template, learned more about printing a book (see the print copy of the original work above!), and decided on just how I want to do it. This Anthology of fics and pics will become a back-burner goal for 2017.
Get the planned for KnotFormers done. - Poor KnotFormers. They got backburnered this year. I did Sunstreaker for Kid2, and Ratchet for the TFzine, but everyone else is waiting in the wings still.
Knitting? Heheh! I really want to learn, but I also really want NK to teach me, but I need to like, ya know, visit her to do that and I have no idea when that’ll become a possibility. So… Tentative goal of learning to knit on my own if I can’t chill and learn from her. Plus, like, omg still another hobby when I’m not done doing the first, but screw it. I want to learn. ^_^ - Not YET! LOL! Though I am still rocking the crochet, so it's cool. Eventually! ^_^

January - Floating - "I don't remember your proposal to join the Decepticons mentioning this," Blurr teased as Starscream crawled up over him.
February - Deal! - Ratchet glowered at the red and yellow menaces standing before him.
March - Crackalackalicious chapters took up March. ^_^
April - Better - “Me Grimlock say me frag you now.”
May - Endgame - The losses on either side were catastrophic.
June - Continuity - Another day, another battle.
July - For The Sake Of Morale - Optimus tried to be discreet and stay out of sight as he returned to the Ark.
August - Optimus Prime and the Terrible, Horrible, Not So Good, Bloody Rotten, Fuck You Day - Optimus hadn't quite been himself as the Autobots left the Ark to head off to the latest Decepticon dustup.
September - Victory Gym - "Slagit!" Ramjet shouted, voice carrying over all the other noise in the Decepticons' common room.
November - Captured - Sunstreaker heaved a sigh and watched the citylings' transport rattle along over the old road.
December - In A Pear Tree - Ratchet frowned at the small stack of gifts piled up on his desk.
2017 GOALS
Finish drafting Crackalackalicious. Yeah, you read that right. I've cleared the To Write Folder, and with Cracka's 10th birthday coming up at the end of November this year, I want to FINISH writing it. Wish me all the farking luck, ok? ^_^
There are some fics to add to the Storm Season series, and I'd like to knock them out.
Maybe hit the Gargoyle AU Twin and I came up with.
That Backburner Goal of editing more of the Anthology for printing. ^_^
Now this isn't really a goal, exactly, but more of a hope. I'd like to still do prompty prompts when I'm able, especially since Cracka won't start posting until April, and I want to have something to offer up for reading. I know not everyone's into the humanized thing anyways, so I don't want those folks to go a year without any other fun stuff from me to read too, but Prompty Prompts will be prioritized below each month's cracka goals.
Other tidbits! - As of right now, I'm not planning to open KnotFormer commissions in 2017, but we'll see. Fic commissions are technically closed too, but if anyone's got something they REALLY want, ping me. I'm probably going to be picky about what I take, and if I do take it, rather than my usual 2 week turn-around, we might be looking at a month for a deadline. Especially if it's long fic. Please bear with me on these things. I REALLY, REALLY want to get Cracka done, and that's going to take precedence over everything else, but I can promise I'll never get angry over someone offering up a bunneh with moneh, provided that someone doesn't get angry at me if I have to decline. <3
Oh, and as for a wordcount goal... Well, Twin's been saying forever that Cracka's gonna bust a million words, so I need to crank out over 300k for that to happen. More importantly is getting the fic done, but honestly... it's gonna be at least that many more words, so yeah. 2017 Wordcount goal = 300,000 words. *cracks knuckles*

I LOVE that you are out there enjoying my fics, that you encourage me, lob bunnehs at me, comment on my fics, click that kudos button, and are my friends. That you create fic or art or plushies or photocomics or crafts for me to admire, that you converse, throw headcanons and fan theories around, that you inspire me and drive me on to be better. That you're fun!
