To Write 2024

ladydragon76It's been a LONG time since I've done one of these, so here we go!
Life's been good but busy in the RL, and I'd fallen out of the habit of sitting down and writing, so now, I'm making time EVERY day, even if it's only 15 minutes to open a doc and write or edit SOMETHING. ^_^ I'm not sure HOW active I'll be on social media (here, PillowFort) because it's been good for my mental health to be away from the drama, but we'll see. I check on Macc's every few weeks (more of late since I got the puter back), and everyone (hopefully) knows that if there are issues in the comm they can reach out. 1 The very last fic in the Storm Season Series, Out of the Blue, has seen progress in recent days, and I have it set as my priority to finish before anything else. - 7-17-2024 COMPLETE!
2 Crackalackalicious - The Twin and I sat down on her visit this past spring and really took a hard look at the second half of Cracka and realized that the hang-up is that some of our darlings needed killin’. We’ve accomplished that, revamped the timeline, discussed all the things, and I feel so so SO good about the changes in the plan and can’t wait to write it. You’ll know the fic is complete once I start posting chapters, but please don’t hold your breath, there’s a LOT to write on it and after so long, I'm going to do it right. There have been scenes written already. ^_^
3 Oopsie Daisy - This Loki/Darth Maul fic is a for-fun, fix-it, cracked out bit of self-indulgence that I'm glad others find entertaining too. And while Twin and I have an outline and plan (and she has TONS of art already!) it’s a backburner fic. This one posts by the chapter as I’m inspired to write on it.
Fics that may also be tossed in the mix in and around Cracka are:
The Gargoyle AU - Demon in Disguise is currently the only fic, but there's a WHOLE thing planned.
Down the Rabbit Hole - IDW Blurr in G1 is planned out and just needs written.
Grimlock’s Healing Spike - Also planned out and just needs written.
What I’m calling the Eclipse Series, though it may end up being just one long fic instead of a series, where we play with the Cons being the good guys and the G1 cartoon was just Autobot propaganda. This is a co-writing/started as an RP piece with NKfloofiepoof and has a LOT done, but needs a LOT of editing to solidify the POVs.
I have a Cybertronain Zombie AU outlined that I'd like to do someday I think.
There's a Rodi self-cest fic I want to do.
The Cry Me A River Series has one more fic to finish it too. - Aftercare
Uninvited also has one more to go. - Honeypot
I found a Lottery Verse fic I'd written and thought lost. - We Need To Talk
Glorfindel at the Ark is more fun and playing about with cracked ideas, but I do have some more I'd like to write for it.
Walking Crack – The Crackalackalicious Zombie AU. We still want to do this, but Cracka needs done first.
7-1-2024 - Finishing out June with 5111 words written. - True Hate's Kiss and two scenes for Out of the Blue completed.
7-17-2024 - I finished Out of the Blue! That puts July's tally to 11,746 words! I'm so excited. It needs cleaned up, then beta'd, but my goal is to post it the 20th for the final day of AutobotJazzWeek2024.
7-20-2024 - Got Out of the Blue posted, and finished writing the final fic for Uninvited! I also found a doc I thought was lost, so there are actually two fics I still need to post, but only 3288 words were written for this month's total. ^_^
7-21-2024 - 3171 more words and the last fic for Cry Me A River is done!
